• WorkCover Small Business website www.smallbusiness.workcover.nsw.gov.au– this is actually a more useful resource for sport at the local level, as it presents WHS in simple and practical terms.  Some of the highlights:
  • Video room, with webinars and presentations of WHS topics
  • Guides, templates
  • Practical info – good overview of the new legislation, but the website also gets to the nitty gritty in areas like first aid, emergency plans, managing falls etc.
• Australian Sports Commission Work Health & Safety Resource for Clubs

  • With the introduction of the new Work Health & Safety legislation last year, the Australian Sports Commission has recently released Sporting Clubs Guide to a Safe Workplace. The guide and fact sheets can be downloaded from the ASC website www.ausport.gov.au/whs
